   Where are you from?: The shire of the berks (berkshire) but will be in cardiff in less than a year!
   Favorite Bands/Artists: Muse, Manic Street Preachers, We Are Scientists (quite obviously,) Depeche Mode and many more.
   Favorite song: Hallelujah, the leonard cohen song, in pretty much any of its guises. It's such a fantastically moving song that it sounds amazing pretty much whoever sings it. And the Chauffeur by Duran Duran.
   Books: the beautiful and damned, of mice and men, 1984, Carrie, all discworld books, all danny wallace and dave gorman.
   Favorite Television Shows: heroes, lost, mock the week, america's next top model (mock me if you will) and nevermind the buzzcocks.
   Favorite Movies: weird science, pretty in pink, the breakfast club, donnie darko, der himmel uber berlin (I refuse to watch city of angels!) Amelie, in bruges and bridget jones.
   How did you first hear about We Are Scientists?: They played nobody move nobody get hurt at a club I went to. I drank, I danced, I somehow managed to remember the lyrics when I woke up, bleary eyed in the morning and googled them. I danced all over again.
   Claim to fame?: I got £25 for asking nicky wire what he would do if he was a girl (he would go shoe shopping... and so did I, and so did I.)The secret ingredient is crime

   Favorite song: It keeps changing - right now, it's Delirium by Ladyhawke.
   Books: Am not much of a reader but it'll have to be Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman.

   How did you first hear about We Are Scientists?: I heard about them on Gonzo on MTV2, but sadly forgot about them even though I got their album...BUT re-discovered them this summer and am so happy about that!
   Claim to fame?: I was an extra in Oxford Murders (the day was spent sitting in a "lecture theatre", doing the same scenes over and over and over and over...and it was really cold)

   He was so lovely to us that night. It was 1am, he'd done the show that night (plus fallen and broken wrist but of course we didn't know that then. Also we have the only official proof he hurt his wrist on June 21st not the 28th like he/Comedy Central kept saying) and then spent time writing the book and yet he still said hi and shook all our hands and posed for a photo. He's a great, great guy.
   I'd seen him tape the show a few days before and he answered my question too which was just amazing. He looked me right in the eyes as he answered it. *sigh* Plus me and my friends I made in queue got to touch the desk!     Where are you from?: San Antonio, TX born and raised. But I'm a bit of a vagabond (sp?), so I've lived in SF, Austin, Denver, NY (3 weeks, guess I didn't make it after all), Conneticut, and Tennessee.

    Books: Everything from Shel Silverstein especially the Giving Tree. Generally, I read weird books on odd subjects like Economics and Engineering but favorite books are always children's books. I wanted to be a children's book illustrator when I was a kid so I love 'em.

    Claim to fame?: Does anybody remember that show on Nick called, "What Would You Do?" with Mark Summers? I was slimed on that show when I was 5 at Nickelodeon studios. If I had a scanner, I'd prove it. Biggest regret though is when they asked me to eat the slime, I said no. I'm still curious as to how it tasted. *sigh* It was freezin' cold too.

    I'm half-and-half. I work a crappy job at a museum part-time (even though I love museums, it sucks where I'm at) and I have a dream job as a freelance photographer. I've done a few shows and I used to write and photograph for a travel section for Jane Magazine before it went defunct and I've done a few photo shows. I'm hoping to quit the other job and be a "real" photographer. A girl can dream!Check out my blog

    Half and half as well. I'm a student. I work at the cinema which has it positives - free films, great banter and negatives - shit pay, annoying customers, managers not respecting your availability. I am overworked and underpaid (I'm currently working weekends whilst uni is on and I'm averaging about 18 hours over 2 days a week!).
    My dream job is directing movies. I am bit more interested in TV direction these days, even musical video direction. I like gig photography too. But I really want to be the next Sam Mendes. I'm doing film and media at uni and hopefully going to intern at a movie studio in the summer of '10 to get my foot in the door."Like a drunken night, it's the best bits that are coloured in" Poke - Frightened Rabbit

    I'm in a gap year, going to be a student again next year. I work in a bookshop three days a week which is enough for me at the moment. The shifts have gone pretty tits at the moment though. And I mean that in the pejorative. On the whole the customers are nice & polite (you get the odd one who wants to hit on you in a creepy way, or is drunk, or is just extremely rude) the staff I work with are diamonds and the job itself is pretty good. I just wouldnt want to do it for the rest of my life. Ideally I'd like to be involved in the music industry somehow, hopefully working for the music press.The secret ingredient is crime

    How did you first hear about We Are Scientists?: In August 06, when I saw them at the signing tent of V Fest. I'd been walking past it when I'd heard Keith's voice, & something inside made me turn around. All three of them (R.I.P. Tapper) were sitting in a row signing autographs & I ran to the barrier to see them better. My mum wouldn't let me go see their set at V Fest because she wanted to see Keane for the 50 millionth time, but it was either Bloc Party or Editors that WAS made a guest appearance on their set, so I got to watch them then :) i've been hooked ever since. Although, I was about slow to realise they had a new album out. By the time I'd figured it out, I'd missed their UK tour!
