they were also reeeally great live.. I hadn't heard so many good things about their live shows before, so I was a tad scared that it might be boring.. but it was amazing!there's a very small snake drowning in a cold lake.

Exactly how I feel about them. He sounds a bit like a dictator. Mostly because of the lyrics in Munich, which admittedly is like the only song I've really heard by them, but still it is kinda annoying.they see me trollin', they hatin'

I looove Munich.. it was the first song I knew obviously.. I once saw an advert for their album in a music magazine and it said below "I'm so glad I found this".. I thought that was really.. a good idea. neat-o.

For some reason for the last however many weeks I've had in my head that the new album was being released next Monday. Today, however, I find out that its not actually being released until October 12th  That means that I'll only have 5 days to learn all the new songs before I see them.Wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff

I would think the album would leak by then so you could probably know most of the tracks by the time you see them.

If you go to the official Editors forum here there's someone who's uploaded some live tracks from their show in Birmingham recently- I thought the quality of the audio was really good. And six new ones there!

I am still insanely jealous of all of you who are seeing them- I bet I have to wait till the end of next year or something till they come to America.

Oh and I think my favorite cover from them is Stereolab's "French Disko." But one of my all time favorites from them has to be "You Are Fading" I never get tired of hearing it.What's the Word - your next best resource for all news on We Are Scientists

    Thanks Renee indeed!

It's my 2nd time but it's at a much better venue this time (though last time helped me find Frightened Rabbit so no complaints at all. Also I was there only 2 hours before doors and got barrier middle). Should be amazing."Like a drunken night, it's the best bits that are coloured in" Poke - Frightened Rabbit

Oh no worries, Zoe! I know you're not rubbing it in. And woohoo for it being your first time seeing them! I know you're going to LOVE it. I think anyone who loves listening to Editors has to see them live at least once- it's a completely different experience with seeing the band! Editors were totally amazing on Tuesday. Much, much better than when I saw them last year. Their stage presence is something else and the crowd at the Barras was jumping the entire time.

In the encore they played Munich followed by Papillion which had to have been the craziest 2 songs at any gig I've been to in recent memory (last time I remember a gig being that crazy was probably WAS in Dundee)."Like a drunken night, it's the best bits that are coloured in" Poke - Frightened Rabbit

Editors were AMAZING tonight. I managed to get right to the barrier too, right infront of Chris (I did a lot of swooning).
They played Papillon in the encore and it was mental, and then they finished with Fingers In The Factories

wow what a night! I have NEVER seen Editors play like that ever! We were dancing like loonies so russel gave us the thumbs up! Chris recognised me from the interview and then the ginger roadie that we made friends with at HRC handed me a drumstick! Awesome!! :D
